27 is a devised work, created by New Paradise Laboratories. It premiered at the 2012 Philadelphia Live Arts Festival. 27 was a physical theater meditation on the phenomenology of the "27 Club," that infamous group of musicians that died at the age of 27 (Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse).
